Salomon’s EPS 4D construction increases shock absorption over the industry standard. Plenty of venting keeps the head cool while hiking and a removable and washable Merino wool liner manages moisture and provides warmth where needed. A summer liner is also included. The Custom Dial size system is simple to adjust and ensures a snug fit.

Venting
Passive ventilation is non-adjustable but effective at cooling the head, allowing hot air to escape easily.
Salomon’s Airflow Concept uses built-in channels within the EPS 4D liner which allows an even temperature and constant airflow between your head, your helmet and your goggles.
Sizing System
The Custom Dial fit system provides a quick, easy and effective adjustment for a precise and comfortable fit. Helmet shape is based on Salomon’s round fit.
Construction
In-mould construction uses a lightweight polycarbonate shell fused with an EPS energy absorbing liner for maximum protection and comfort.

- The Merino wool and AdvancedSkin ActiveDry liner provides thermal regulation for your head during climbing sessions, skinning up, and charging down.
- A summer liner is included for late spring tours. Both liners are fully removable and washable.
- The helmet has a headlamp retainer to keep your light securely in place for night tours.
